It's Thursday
Ernie and I are going jogging this am, oh yes and Dakota! Kota is thrilled, he won't leave my side because he sees the jogging shorts and he knows this is walking time for him. This weekend I am going help Meg and Charissa by either babysitting or helping with renovating, I think with my experience in renovating they'd be better putting me with the kids. I will also be dropping off some more boxes since I'm going that way.

It's Monday!
I am getting ready to go jogging and both Lori's are coming today. I love it when all of us can get together! The jog goes so fast and the conversation is so good! We will do the river today, it is suppose to be hot again so will be glad to get the run over early when its still just warm. Right now its only 9 but this afternoon it will be mid 20s, if and when I can avoid the heat I will right now until I drop more weight, then bring on the heat!
Where oh where have the Lori's gone where oh where can they be? THEY BOTH SLEPT IN!

OK 10km down and now on to my next small goal
I will be training to try to jog an entire 5km in September, I am going to host a walk/run/wheel for arthritis (another Joints in Motion fundraiser) in September in Esterhazy. Participants will pay $25 and walk, jog, bike or roller blade set distances then have brunch and get a $15 tax receipt! Cool eh? I will jog the 5km so I can be there to help organize it. I will be able to participate that way! I want to make this a really fun experience for all that attend, kind of like how we felt running the Bridge City Boogie 10km, it was the kind of rush that you want to keep feeling. Anyway for anyone interested in doing this type of activity please keep watching my blog for updates! Talk to you soon!

Post 10KM
Well it's done and over, the 10km that is. I am so glad we did it, I really thought all the way up to it that I should have signed up for the 5km, but it wasn't that bad. I really encourage anyone here in the city to do the Bridge City Boogie, it was a rush! The volunteers, the musicians and singers, I have never had so much fun sweating! Lori E and I ran the race together and enjoyed a good conversation and a lot of high moments, like seeing the 6km sign lol, (you had to be there). Lori found her well for the last lap and ran her heart out, me I went the same speed, again I am the turtle. If you ladies invite me back next year I would be glad to do it again, this time with Lori M (Q) with us!
Yes, get use to it Lori Q is now Lori M. My trainer, Lori Q got married and is right now honeymooning in New Zealand with her husband Rob. Congrats!

Hello Melville
Just wanted to say hello to everyone in Melville, if you've read the paper (June 11th issue) I thought you might check out my blog! Ernie and I will be back in the city for the BBQ at the Hoffman's on June 14, 2008 from 5:00 until ?????, we will be visiting after the BBQ with anyone that can stay. All monies raised at this BBQ and all events will go to the Arthritis Society for the Joints in Motion program, which I am proud to be participating in. We would love to see you all and catch up with you!
I would like to take this space to thank our friends for doing this, Cana, Lynda, Margo, Don and Karen. These guys have been great supporters and I can't thank them enough.
After this event we will be planning a Walk/Run/Wheel for Arthritis in Esterhazy, there will be a walking event or a 5 or 10 KM run or 16 or 32 Km Bike event. Keep watching for updates.
If you are here, leave a comment, I love to read them. Click on the comment link and then follow directions, I think you have to fill in the letters you see then click name and type in your name, it's really easy!

OK weigh in time!
I'm not impressed but I lost 2.4 pounds in May! Kind of crappy but no one guessed 2-3 pounds so you all owe me comments! The silver lining! I still get comments. Am still plugging away with the weight I will win, as I've no choice here and neither does the weight, with all this jogging it has to go and I think it is just starting to understand that. Will keep you posted monthly as to loses. Thanks to all those that participated in that challenge! No weight challenge for June, but I would like to do a challenge with miles or Km walked or jogged, just trying to think of one. Maybe I could track the miles or Km I do and you could try to match or beat me, something like that. If you think of anything let me know, we could start anytime and do it for one month. I'm out now as I have my garage sale going on today and tomorrow then the Bridge City Boogie on Sunday! (that's the 10KM) Talk to you later.

Just got a call from Cana in Melville!
Cana just called to let me know that the Melville Advance (our home town paper) will be calling to do an interview regarding the Marathon and our fund raiser BBQ at his and Lynda's farm! Yahoooo! What a break! I am hoping everyone in Melville that remembers me will try to either make a small donation or come to the BBQ.
This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done, but I am so excited about doing it!
I am thrilled, thanks Melville!

week 9 of 9
Ok this is the week I do the 10 km, it will be my first 10km but that's ok. I know I can easily do the 6.4 so this should be alright, right! I will walk or do shorter jogs this week, 2 walks and 2 jogs, so I can take Friday and Saturday off then Sunday it is the Bridge City Boogie Day! Yahooooooo I am pumped! Plus this weekend (Friday and Saturday) I am having a garage sale to help raise money, should be a busy weekend!
busy weeks don't alway work out the way I plan, so this week I will wing it.
Everyone think of Lori Q on Saturday, it's her big day!
