Almost Moving

We are getting ready to move, so everything else has taken a back seat for this week. The only good thing is I am running around and lifting enough to get in a lot of exercise. Yes we are do it yourselfers when it comes to moving! Crazy but Ernie likes it that way. Ryan and Ernie do most of the heavy lifting I am the box lady and pack and unpack lady, seems to work for us. I stay out of their way while they are lifting and it all seems to go smooth! Didn't do so well eating on the weekend but not to worried I am back in the saddle today and back watching extra close, can't afford a bad weigh in!

I will be down (internet) from July 10-15, but will have an entry ready for the 15th for you, see you then.

Had some sad news, my friend Sue, (the one who is in a lot of the comments) her dad passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sue, Dave and family.

Thank you!!
I know Grey Owl has him and he is in his hands now.
I had a message from one of Dads spitiual friends and she said that he had visited their circle Saturday afternoon and said to say he was very happy and that he is watching over us.
He also told Diana that I will be going to his spiritual resting place in Canada.
Hairs standing on end yet?
I know mine are!!
Lori M will understand.
Catch him from me Lori!!

Hi Laurie!
I'm Allison, and I called about your already taken BBQ yesterday. Just wanted to say that your blog here is inspirational, and you're doing great!! I'm doing Italy, too, with my mom and a friend of mine. I'm really excited, and scared!! It's going good so far (i think!). haha..

So anyways, keep up the good work! I'm impressed. :)

You can check out my bloggy thing at http://allisoninmotion.livejournal.com if you want to.

Hey! Thank you for all the words of kindness and suggestions!

I just started raising money a couple weeks ago. So far I sent out a lot of letters. We're having a beer night this Saturday at Winston's from 7-9, and I've done some small things like selling popcicles at work, chocolates, and we're doing a 50/50. I think it's going well, I was doing 1% a day for awhile! Slowing down now, but I have a lot of things in the works! Being that my mom and friend are raising money as well, it might be a bit harder for us but I'm confident!! :D

As for the $7100, the night I signed up to the team, she said the prices had just changed that very day due to fuel taxes/etc. You should probably ask Tracey if this is going to apply to you too!! I hope not, but I'm sure you will have no trouble either way. You're doing great! I'll be watching your blog ;)
I'm really impressed with your training. We are planning on walking, with maybe a bit of jogging thrown in. I need a lot of training before the training just for this. You must be working SO hard. And yeah, kind of neat that you cancelled your bbq and now a bunch of people are probably crawling out of the woodworks ;)

Keep going you will soon find out how much easier it comes, once you have done a few months then you will get into a pattern, just remember it is not a race and you will find us over here in Europe quite friendly as Laurie (my shrinking mate) has found out.
Still proud of you Laurie move or no move.
Hit me today having a real bad day,Lori Q send me an Native poem broke mine and my sisters heart and Dave will be reading it at Dad's funeral.
Love you all
