Sunday Walking

Ernie, Dakota and I got out and did a 10KM on Sunday! Dakota was pooped! Ernie and I were tired but alright. We jogged part of the way out (of town, we go 5KM out and 5KM back) then just walked fast the way back, did our best time yet 1 hour 48 minutes. I know for all you runners out there that is very slow but I haven't been doing much jogging since moving here. My only jogging partner, up till Ernie, has been Meg and she is one busy lady! But I have got a lot of walking partners and I have been keeping that up! This Thursday Ryan is home then we have a friends wedding this weekend....then Ryan leaves Monday! For six months! He is off to Australia, I'm thrilled for him and maybe a little worried, it's the mother in me. He has a good head on his shoulder so I know he'll be fine, but a mother has to worry!
Well better go talk to you all soon.

I am cheering for you! Question, what is the easiest thing for Ernie and I, can we use our debit card? credit card or cash and about how much if cash, pounds and euros. We will likely do more with you guys but need kind of an idea as we will do some site seeing in both places. Can you give me an idea of about what our days with you (tour, play, hotel and any day trip or whatever else you have thought of) will be in pounds? Thanks.

Ok here goes!!
In the UK we do not use Euro's.
Your cards should be fine, we can use our's in Canada and the states so can't see why you can't over here.
We have A.T.M machines everywhere.
At the moment we haven't booked up anything as we were waiting for firm dates and the theatre bookings only go up to April but we will be doing London.
We can sort things out when you get here, all I know is that Italy can be a bit pricey.
Italy is Euro's but most places except credit / debit card as long as they are not American Express, as some places are refusing those ones.

Thanks Sue, I think we will bring a bit of each but leave the majority in the bank then.
