Personal Trainer
Megan had a personal trainer when she moved here and kept all the routins, so we have been following them, wow today I feel it. I don't usually feel it when we are doing the workout, so Meg had me use heavier weights, but still I was just feeling it....well I am stiff today! Not as bad as I've been in the past but stiff none the less. Will have to push through today and woman-up!

Dec 15......10 days to Christmas
Well this week is the start of three wild weeks! Since we are dropping our exchange student off at the airport, I decided to spend some mother-daughter time with Meg and go visit a friend of ours at the same time. So Thursday we will drop the boys then shop a bit then head to Moose Jaw. Friday will start with us heading back to Regina for some shopping then to the hotel where we will meet the boys and grandkids for watersliding and a nice evening. On Saturday we will go our separate ways with the kids heading to Kyle's family for their Christmas and us heading home, maybe with a stop in Melville to see family and friends for lunch.
It's really cold here (-31 with the wind chill -43, this is not normal for this time of year Sue! and it only lasts about 2 weeks or so) so we have not walked outside, I would but I won't take Dakota out in this, he can barely go out to do his business without coming in limping with one paw frozen! So We are trying to hit the gym and I have to make use of the treadmill in the basement!

New Week
We are starting a new week! I have two suppers down did alright for both, not great but I'm getting better. Should be hitting the gym with Margo and Ernie today, both have said they want to go. This week we have Ernie's Christmas supper (the entire place) and then supper with the boys and lights. Then next week just one supper and a Regina overnight with the kids. Shouldn't be to hard to get through this all!

You read my mind Sue!
Sue just commented that I hadn't blogged in a while. So here goes. Margo, Megan, Kyle, Ernie and I have all joined the gym! Margo and I have been walking one day and gym the next! It's nice because I have a nice sized group to go with me. That helps when you don't want to go alone. I even started jogging on the treadmill, since I know I have to start up again, I might as well start now. We have an actual trainer from the Arthritis program that sets you up with a personalized program so I am awaiting mine to see how far I am from it! lol It is suppose to be for non runners so we will see! Christmas suppers start today, we have a "welcome" supper tonight for Ernie, then tomorrow wings for Don's 50, then the 13th for Ernie's Christmas party, then the 14th the families that have the exchange students are all getting together and going out, then Ernie's crew is having their own supper on the 18th, then .....just kidding, no actually we have the 25 Christmas at the Appels the on the 26 late lunch here with the Cooks! You try to diet through all this! I'm doing my best! I've even tried to offer to drive so I don't drink!!! Extra calories I don't need! Merry Christmas to all and have a safe holiday season! But I will be talking to you again soon, I promise.
