Week of January 12, 2009
Well week one is done and even with the flu I did all the training, a bit slower but all is done! Everyone has been so supportive, Megan has matched me kilometre for kilometre and Margo has been out with me, even Ernie has jumped on the treadmill and come outside walking with me. No one has any interest in seeing me fail! This is the best feeling ever!

How are you doing, preparing for your big dive back into Lighter Life? I'm doing slimfast with Margo, I thought what the heck I have half a container and nothing but time! We curled last night, it took us almost 3 hours to curl one game, should take 2! Not sure why it took so long??? I am really enjoying curling with these ladies, they are a great bunch! Next year the person I'm replacing will likely be back and I'll be looking for a new team, but at least I'm really learning about curling. It's like golf, you just have to get out there and do it to get better at it! Plus it is great exercise, cause we really sweep!
Yep Im ready for it, have this weekend posh do to do, having panic attacks over it, I spoke to my friend last night finally and she said that Lynzi (her daughter)said no to trousers when she asked to wear them!!
So mad rush tonight to see if I can get a long skirt or dress (i don't do dresses)have to get Daves bow tie tonight as well.
Once this is over then zipp the mouth!!

It is a formal do and it is what my friends daughter wanted for her birthday.
Dave will be in a dinner suit, bow tie and all!!
I want pictures!!!! You will be beautiful for sure but I have to see Mr. Dave in a bow tie! Enjoy and act all classy, tell Dave to drink his beer from a wine glass that way he'll look the part! Are you guys still thinking about coming back with us. Cause if you need to work some of the time when we are there, please do it if it will mean that you can come over. Simone will be ready for a visit by then and so will all your friends here.
At the moment we do not plan to.
Maybe later in the year who know's.

Yes I will take some pictures of his lordship, he even has a cumberband (goes round the waist)all in silk!!
Well ask him why he doesn't dress like that when he comes here, just for us!
