Wow Sundays are the best and the most tiring!

As I've said in the past, Sunday is the long walk. Today was no different, we did 16km in the Saskatchewan wind! It was actually moving me around and I'm no light weight! We did the entire walk facing the wind head on, there aren't enough curves in the road to make a difference, so the entire way the wind was in our face and so hard that we were leaning forward just to walk. Ahhh good times, not! I tell Ernie that if I complain about the heat in Italy just remind me about the wind and cold here! We are down to 37 days until we leave!!! I love a count down. This weeks walking will include 5, 6.5, 7 and 6 then only 12 on Sunday, nice eh? That will seem like nothing. Next two Sundays are 18 then we have 20! But instead of 20 we'll do 22 just to have it under our belts, (that is the number we have to do for the half marathon and it is exactly 11km to a turn off from our house so there and back will be 22km). Then Sunday before we leave is only 6km yaa. This week we have Andy's (exchange student living with us) birthday on Monday and Ayla's birthday party, then Ernie's birthday on Friday then on Saturday wings with Kathy and Dan. Should be a nice week.

Oh yeah my feet didn't hurt at all, I love my good shoes, I'm wearing them for every walk now! We were tired but more from the wind than the walk. All in all early night was had, we had Chinese food for supper (Andys birthday) with Margo and Don then by 9:30 we were both in bed.

Dave said we will go onto Skye about 4.30pm our time and I think you are still 7 hours behind us making it either 9.30 or 10.30 your time.
We go into summertime this weekend so our clocks go forward 1 hour.

OK I'll have him ready for 10:30 I don't think you are 7 hours ahead I think it's only 6. Regardless I'll be here and so will he, in case I'm wrong. He will be the big 49!!! Next year will be the big 50!! I guess I'll have to throw a surprize party, the only problem with that is that he will want to do the same for me, and I don't want one, I want to plan my own! Anyway get your moving details in order for next year, you'll have to be here so you might as well just move! And could we have used Dave this past week, our furnance decided to take a bit of a vacation! Not sure what that cost us yet, not sure I want to know! I did ask the guy if they were looking for workers and he said always! Dave the ball is in your court!
